Philippine Duchateau (piano) und Peter Rom(guitar), deren Engagements die beiden u.a. nach Frankfurt, Bukarest und München führten, vermitteln in ihrem Duo den Klang einer voll tönenden Jazzcombo: Walking Bass lines treffen auf virtuose Jazz-Improvisationen, kochenden Swing und intime Balladen. Eine exquisite Auswahl von Lieblings –Jazzstandards und Samba/Bossa Nova favourites (Stan Getz/A.C. Jobim) werden mit ausgesuchten Pop Arrangements kombiniert, wobei Spielleidenschaft und lebendiger Dialog von Klavier und Gitarre stets im Vordergrund stehen…

The Philippine Duchateau (p) / Peter Rom (g) duo, that has already performed e.g. in Frankfurt, Bukarest and Munich, create the sound of a hard swinging jazz combo while playing in a duo setting: Walking bass lines and colourful jazz improvisations blend with elegant swing as well as intimate ballads. Philippine Duchateau and Peter Rom combine an exquisite selection of their favourite jazz standards and Samba/Bossa Nova tunes (Stan Getz/A.C.Jobim) with selected pop arrangements, always keeping a vivid dialogue between their instruments.
